Poster Making Competition
The High School Section of New English Medium School, Shaniwar Peth successfully organized a Poster Making Competition for the students of Standards IX and X to promote creativity, awareness, and social responsibility.
The Standard IX House-wise Competition was based on the theme "Water Security." Students created informative and impactful posters emphasizing water conservation, rainwater harvesting, prevention of water pollution, and the importance of sustainable water management. Their innovative ideas and artistic expressions reflected a deep understanding of the need to conserve this precious natural resource.
For Standard X, the theme was "Scouts and Guides." Students designed attractive posters highlighting the ideals of the Scout and Guide movement, such as discipline, leadership, teamwork, patriotism, community service, environmental protection, and the motto "Be Prepared." The posters effectively conveyed the spirit of service and responsible citizenship.
A Natural Colour Making Activity was also conducted for the students of Standard X. They enthusiastically prepared eco-friendly colours using natural ingredients such as turmeric, beetroot, spinach, hibiscus flowers, marigold petals, and coffee. The activity helped students understand the importance of sustainable living and encouraged them to adopt environmentally friendly practices.
The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from the students. Their creativity, originality, and thoughtful presentation made the event both educational and inspiring. The activity successfully nurtured artistic talent while creating awareness about important environmental and social values.
